"Real Christmas Trees and greenery can be recycled at many locations around the metro. Many programs are free and open to residents regardless of where they live; some services are limited to city residents or specific neighborhoods.
"Only natural trees and greenery are accepted.
"All decorations, including lights, ornaments, tree stands, frames, and plastic bags must be removed before drop-off.
"Artificial trees and greenery in good condition can be sold, given away, or donated; those in poor condition should be disposed of with regular trash."
