Sadly, cowtown employment numbers don't look anything at all like the "great American golden age" as so many broke-a$$ locals aren't benefiting at all from stock market gains.

"Kansas City’s employment has been flat for 18 months, according to a report by the Mid-American Regional Council, leaving the region lagging the nation by four percentage points in job recovery since COVID-19.
"The unemployment rate has risen to 4% as the region’s job market faces multiple challenges, including federal workforce cuts and a slowdown in the tech sector."
