Today's news cycle is pretty much doomed by snow news. 

So far we're all clear and this could be yet another anti-climax given the sketchy record of local weather newsies.

 Cities in the Kansas City Metro are prepping for the first snowfall of the 2025 season, with forecasts calling for snow to begin Monday morning and continue through the afternoon and evening.

Additionally, the National Weather Service (NWS) issued a winter weather advisory for much of the metro. With that in mind, cities in the area are now beginning to take steps to ensure residents and travelers can be as safe as possible.
