An astute observation from one of our favorite readers regarding Mayor Q's social media strategy and restaurant branding foibles . . .
"Q makes his stupidest post ever . . . I don't care whether visitors from Germany go to Affäre, another German restaurant in KC, or Gates. BUT, to presume they would want to eat German food while here just sounds silly."
And now, in fairness, here's the word from Mayor Q attempting to play Maître d' for an alleged 650K people . . . Check-it:
"Looking forward to welcoming our FIFA World Cup guests from around the world to some comfortable cuisine from their home countries in Kansas City. I’ve been to many of these spots, but will try them all out between now and June (and go back!). You should too!"
