Kansas City Mayor Q 'Manufacturing Consent' For Downtown Royals Stadium?!?

Consider . . .

The world didn't end when the Chiefs announced their move to The Dotte. In fact, a great many Kansas City taxpayers were relieved that their grandchildren wouldn't be forced to subsidize the Hunt family.

Brief aside . . . TKC remains a bit "salty" that college-age reading has now been completely ruined by reality given that "Manufacturing Consent" author Noam Chomsky was private plane buddies with Epstein.

But I digress . . .

And so . . .

There still doesn't seem to be a great deal of GENUINE local voter excitement about downtown baseball and NOBODY thinks an East Side stadium is a good idea . . . And so, from our vantage . . . We're looking at YET ANOTHER stadium push propped up by elected leaders and civic power players WITHOUT ANY SIGNIFICANT GRASSROOTS SUPPORT.

That's just our opinion so we'll ask readers today:

HOW MUCH VOTER SUPPORT IS THERE FOR DOWNTOWN KANSAS CITY BASEBALL?!?

Again . . . This issue possibly going back to the ballot is why CEO John Sherman playing with the emotions of locals was ALWAYS a bad idea.

In fairness, here's how Mayor Q sees it . . .

“I think what’s obvious to us is there’s an excitement in downtown Kansas City when you talk to major businesses, major institutions like Union Station, like any others that are willing to go on record about it, who know this could mean a lot,” Lucas said.
