Kansas City Leaders Repeat Plea Against Celebratory Gunfire That's ALWAYS Ignored

This time around . . . There's the warning that another law is on the books against the dweebs who do this kind of thing every year . . . Check-it: 

"Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas, Police Chief Stacey Graves, and Jackson County Prosecutor Melesa Johnson reminded those who plan to celebrate tonight that it is illegal to shoot a gun into the air in celebration.

"Firing a gun into the air has always been illegal in Kansas City, but under Blair’s Law, the penalties are much harsher in Missouri. Blair’s Law, a part of Senate Bill 754, makes celebratory gunfire illegal within a Missouri municipality.

"The law was passed in July 2024 in memory of 11-year-old Blair Shanahan Lane, who died from celebratory gunfire in 2011."
