Mayor Q has presided over the bloodiest years in all of recorded Kansas City history.  

Moreover . . .

It's fair to be skeptical about violent crime "progress" from an administration that promised to get the homicide rate under 100 and never came close.

Dutifully, we share a more optimistic perspective . . .  

"After several years of record homicides and other violent crime, Kansas City leaders now point to a decrease in homicides, nonfatal shootings, burglaries and property damage. Police Chief Stacey Graves attributed it to more officers and a citywide focused deterrence program."
