A glimpse at the Golden Ghetto gearing up for campaign season . . .
Kansas Sen. Ethan Corson, D-Fairway, and Cindy Holscher, D-Overland Park, spoke to a group of about 500 Democrats in a Zoom call on Nov. 24.
It was the first time the candidates had spoken to a shared audience since the start of their campaigns, and allowed them to lay out to share their vision for winning the seat, and what they'd do as governor.
The Johnson County Democrats found plenty of common ground, and both committed to supporting whichever Democrat ultimately won the primary. They are entering the race with different priorities and strategies in their campaigns, however.
