For weeks, some owners have reported receiving multiple bills with different amounts, while others received only one.
The issue affects commercial properties valued at less than $5 million, and county officials say the guidance is now simple.
Jackson County Executive Phil LeVota says commercial property owners should pay the bill they received in the mail. If that amount ends up being higher than what they actually owe, the county promises to issue a refund.
