We shouldn't forget that mainstream media lied to locals almost every step of the way. 

Remember back in 2022, journalists proudly corrected locals who talked about an impending dome and claimed that Chiefs Chairman & CEO Clark Hunt valued "renovation" over a new domed stadium. 

It turns out that was all B.S. and the Chiefs have obviously been planning this move for years whilst talking about of both sides of their face. 

The bright side is that they are quickly burning up all of their good will earned over the past decade.
