It's reasonable to expect that a newsman would have some understanding of the Internets but apparently former newspaper scribe Dan Margolies & his "Notes From KC" Substack has never heard of Godwin's Law.

In a recently posted passionate rant, he might be forgetting that the Trump Administration has given BILLIONS worth of aid and military assistance to Israel during a controversial conflict which doesn't SEEM like something Hitler would do . . . Still . . . We share a quote and further reading for perspective on what passes for "professional" journalism . . . Check-it:

We no longer have to imagine how we might have reacted had we lived in Hitler’s Germany. All of us who purport to stand for the dignity of all human beings, for the rule of law, for due process, for government of, by, and for the people, are now being asked to address that question in real time.
Are we willing to stand for our principles and back them up with action? If not, we’re in no position to pass judgment on those who stayed silent as Hitler began rounding up Jews, homosexuals, disabled people, Roma, Communists, and other “undesirables.”
