This year started with significant contract cuts at the Kansas City metro Ford Assembly plant . . . In fact . . . Around the nation we've noticed auto workers taking a hit because of so-called "retooling" as companies were excited about electric until Prez Trump's "Big Beautiful Bill" cut subsidies.

We can only hope a delay in that strategy might encourage automakers to stop the cuts and keep more local workers . . .

"Ford is rethinking its electric vehicle and battery strategy, dropping the all-electric version of the F-150 Lighting and putting more of its money into hybrid trucks and energy storage to support data centers and grid stability.
