Flashback: Kansas City Also Confronted Daycare Fraud Scam

Credit to a TKC reader for noting that fraud allegations making big news in Minnesota right now have a connection to the Kansas City metro. 

A quick note reminds us that the first local bust in a similar case was back in 2019 . . .  

"Looks like the Feds in KC were on the ball." 

We're not about generalizing people . . . However . . . It's not unreasonable to identify connections and trends that confront different communities. In KC, not so long ago, an indictment over the alleged scam was against "a naturalized citizen from Somalia" as noted by fed dox.  Realizing connections in order to prevent fraud makes more sense than simply denying it altogether like so many of our progressive friends.

Here was the cowtown end game . . . 

"The owner of a Kansas City day care center was sentenced to federal prison for fraudulently receiving more than $556,000 in benefits."
