Cold Favors Kansas City Chiefs But Not Fingers & Toes Of Fans

Following the frigid January 2024 Chiefs playoff game, Research Medical Center reported at least 12 patients required amputations (mostly fingers and toes) for severe frostbite

So bundle up out there in order to keep all of those digits.  

Now here's the weather context for ballers . . .  

"The weather will very much be in Kansas City's favor, as it's going to be a frigid game for everyone at Arrowhead Stadium. Nick Bender of KMBC 9 News posted on X that Sunday's game against the Chargers will be "one of, if not the, coldest games of 2025 so far." Bender also stated that the wind chills on Sunday morning will be between -5 and -15 degrees and the temperature at kickoff will be in the upper teens."
