Aftermath: KCATA Refuses To Pick Up CEO Frank White III

This departure was inevitable but much "classier" than we imagined . . . We didn't think the guy would last long after the Exec was booted . . . And now, here's today's holiday season departure notice: 

"The Kansas City Area Transportation Authority and CEO Frank White III are parting ways after the ATA's board declined to renew White's contract this week."

Kansas City's transit agency is getting rid of its CEO after years of budget problems and route cuts

Frank White III has led the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority since 2022. The KCATA board decided to not renew his contract amid high tensions between the agency and Kansas City, and a looming fiscal cliff that has threatened service cuts multiple times this year.
