The Dotte Approves Homeless Callous 'Camping' Crackdown

A sketchy solution that hopes to outlaw poverty . . . 

Also, sadly, this political power move might also be a losing legal battle in the making that has already been struck down in higher federal courts.

Sleeping under bridges and local overpasses could now result in jail time in Wyandotte County. By a 6-2 vote, the Unified Government Board of Commissioners approved an ordinance banning people, including those who are experiencing homelessness, from “unsafe” camping on public and private properties in the county.
