Reparations Commish Meets With Diminishing Kansas City Interest

As always, people are smarter than fads, trends & politicos . . .

Our thesis . . .

Kansas City's Black community quickly lost interest in "reparations" when it became apparent that local funds would only be distributed to a small sect of politically connected activists. Even worse, attending these events would merely offer more leverage for "leaders" hoping to profit from "research" into a payout that's unlikely. Translation: This effort kinda used the community like a prop.

Today, we wanted to share important follow-up . . .

"The commission is well aware of the legal and political headwinds the notion of reparations is facing – with Supreme Court rulings against race-based college admissions and employment, and the court’s fresh look at race-based gerrymandering in political districts. A presidential executive order in May even froze commission funds for a time."
