The Scarritt Renaissance neighborhood in northeast Kansas City has hosted “Scare-it” Halloween for 30 years, but this one will be its last.
Each year, they invite anyone who can make it to trick or treat with them.
He said that the neighborhood feels like they’ve accomplished their goal for the past 30 years and hopes to continue the tradition of a safe place for families with a fall festival next year.
