New Prez Trump Threats Reignite Fear Of Kansas City Crackdown

Right now the Kansas City, Missouri homicide count stands at 124 which is single-digit progress over the number of local killings at this time last year.

STL currently trails our cowtown at 118 making KC proper the most deadly place in the four state area.

Earlier this summer conservative Jack Cashill penned an EPIC column begging MAGA for a military crackdown in KC.

Also . . .

Mayor Q weighed in with a surprising rebuke of MAGA crime fighting efforts.

And then . . .

Missouri Senator Schmitt offered up Kansas City as a venue where MAGA crackdowns might help.

Finally . . .

Local progressives attempted to talk their way out of the threat by trying to spin the potential power move as a failing of GOP Republican governance of KC's police.

But now . . .

AS MIDTERMS APPROACH, MAGA THREATS OF MILITARY CRACKDOWNS IN AMERICAN CITIES RESURFACE & EVEN SEEM MORE LIKELY!!!

 In fairness . . .

The kind of entertainment district "occupation" that we've seen in D.C. might actually help KC's long suffering party places that have never been able to completely secure weekend crowds from late night hip-hop music enthusiasts and their antics.

Either way . . .

Whilst Kansas City, admittedly, isn't a "high value" target for conservative law enforcement crackdowns. There are more than a few locals who would welcome federal help amid consistently high crime that ranks far above similar sized cities.

Here's the word . . .

President Trump threatened to deploy more troops to U.S. cities this week — and not just the National Guard — as part of what he describes as his national crackdown on crime.

Speaking to U.S. troops aboard an aircraft carrier in Japan, Trump said he planned to expand his crime and immigration offensive because "we have cities in trouble."

"We're sending in our National Guard, and if we need more than the National Guard, we'll send more than the National Guard, because we're going to have safe cities," Trump said, aboard the USS George Washington at the Yokosuka Naval Base. "We're not going to have people killed in our cities. And whether people like that or not, that's what we're doing."
