Missouri Senator Schmitt Warns Against 'Radicalized' Democratic Party

The problem . . .

Some of us see this blundering shutdown looking bad for everyone and callously hurting the plebs in order to achieve partisan objectives . . . Meanwhile, a Missouri politico actually makes it sound kinda cool . . . Even if standing in line for food handouts is anything but . . . 

Here's the word:  

“Republicans have voted 13 times for a clean CR,” (Sen.) Schmitt said. “We’re not asking for anything partisan. just the same level of spending that Democrats voted for six months ago. This is a Schumer shutdown.”

“The Democrats, I think, are playing politics right now, to appease their more radicalized base.”
