Mayor Skoog Stays Winning Overland Park

An upstart campaign was easily pushed back in order to maintain the suburban status quo.

Mayor Curt Skoog has won re-election to a second term, defeating challenger and former city councilman Faris Farassati in Tuesday’s Overland Park mayoral race.

He prevailed with over 70 percent of the vote with all precincts reporting.
