"Government data from September 2023 to July 2025, provided by ICE in response to a FOIA request to the Deportation Data Project, shows that ICE arrests in Kansas have doubled since Trump's inauguration in January. The arrests have been spread throughout Kansas, with most coming in Finney, Johnson and Wyandotte counties.
"Notably, half of the arrests in Kansas since Trump’s crackdown began are of people with no criminal conviction, an increase from the last 18 months of the Biden administration, when only one in four ICE arrests were of someone without a criminal conviction."
