Kansas City Star Reports Autumn Drought

A nod to the newspaper . . .

This report was offered in an attempt to ruin the idyllic autumn weekend for news junkies and those of us poor souls who also suffer from allergies worsened by dry conditions.

Check-it . . .

"Drought conditions across the Kansas City region are worsening due to the lack of rain. Since Sept. 1, only 3.69 inches of rain have fallen, according to data from the NOAA Regional Climate Centers. That’s well below the 8.21 inches that are considered normal for that period. For the year, Kansas City has seen 31.68 inches of precipitation, about 5 inches below the average of 36.58 inches, according to weather data."
