Kansas City Star Joins Advocacy Against ICE

This biased bit of journalism isn't reporting . . . In fact, it's closer to an advertorial.

At the very least, the article seems geared toward helping "the undocumented" find a path to residency that might or might not include legal citizenship.

That could be a noble goal for activists but it's not something that should concern REAL reporters who are required to at least acknowledge both sides AND the fact that mass deportation has been the most popular component of the MAGA movement that also garners support from Democratic Party voters.

Again, local newsies don't have to like the news but have to AT LEAST acknowledge it in order to preserve a bit of self-respect.

In fairness, so many right-wing outlets do the EXACT SAME THING and we've watched them tap dance around this Epstein disaster in typical fashion.

But I digress . . . Because there are so many obvious partisan hack trolls & bots in comment sections across the Internets.

We merely share the report so that the last remaining humans online might garner a better view of the discourse . . . Check-it:

"The Kansas City area has seen a number of highly publicized arrests by ICE since January, when President Donald Trump took office, pushing anti-immigration tactics . . .

"In recent months, ICE agents began staking out at immigration courts in the Kansas City area.

"The National Immigrant Law Center says people should carry copies of their documents and tell loved ones the locations of the originals. The organization published know-your-rights guides in English, Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Haitian Creole, Korean, Tagalog and Vietnamese.

"People should schedule a consultation with a lawyer, who can give them advice on how to proceed . . ."
