A glorious World Series was a decade ago . . . Sadly, this town still seems to cling to beautiful memories rather than think about the future . . .

The reality is that it all might have been a clever scheme to sell the franchise to the hapless new boss who has bungled nearly every aspect of the team to date.

And so maybe thinking about the good times isn't so bad after all . . .
