When Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas was a guest on 96.5 The Fan last month, he was asked about his dining experience at the 1587 Prime steakhouse.

“Outstanding dishes, the cuts of meat are particularly fantastic,” Lucas said. “It is a price point, though. So if you’re taking your lady, your friend, whatever you know, make sure you already paid your bills for the month.

“But it’s a very, very good experience. The ambiance is wonderful. I look forward to making it back. And I told my wife, we’re gonna make it back in about a year.”
