Kansas City Low Voter Turnout Week In Review

There's an important contradiction that's worth pointing out in this weekly discussion of local news & politics that's always a MUST-SEE for KC news junkies.

Herein lies the rub . . .

Panelists stress that local issues which hit us at the neighborhood level STILL MATTER and there's a world beyond our hyper-partisan social media culture war . . . But then, in that same breath, everybody admits that voter turnout was abysmal or, at best, mediocre in even the most hotly contested elections this week.

Other than that . . .

Conservative talker Pete Mundo shared the best insight and a reality check for the JoCo GOP.

And we're all still pretending that World Cup 2026 attendance projections are real.

Check the official description . . .

"Nick Haines, Yvette Walker, Brian Ellison, Pete Mundo and Kyle Palmer discuss the biggest winners and losers in this week's election, the lessons learned from voting trends on both sides of the state line, abandoning redistricting efforts in Kansas, the speculation around potential U.S. Senate runs by Sharice Davids or Laura Kelly, the survey of Royals fans, World Cup accommodations and more."
