Kansas City Graffiti Retrospective 2025

Often, we always attempt to demonstrate the difference betwixt graffiti vs. tagging because there are still a few locals who don't want to understand and attempt to feign anti-social ignorance.

Certainly, it's okay to dislike graffiti and urban art altogether. There's not accounting for taste and SOME of it really is garbage.

However . . .

At the very least graffiti murals make an attempt at creative self-expression. They're often (mostly) commissioned or sanctioned and several local artist have used graffiti as a springboard to other kinds of design work.

Meanwhile . . .

Speaking of the former and not the latter . . . We wanted to share a nice look at recent street art now that the season of these murals is soon to come to an end in 2025.

Check-it . .
