Kansas City Earns 'Equity Index' Win Streak

Like it or not . . . Kansas City has garnered nationwide attention for a longstanding commitment to "diverse communities" even as laws & federal mandates shift.

Here's the word from 12th & Oak social media outlets and more . . .

For the fifth year in a row, we’ve earned a perfect score of 100% on the Human Rights Campaign’s Municipal Equality Index. This recognition highlights our commitment to creating a welcoming and inclusive community for all. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

The city hall quote . . .

"Kansas City's commitment to equality for all will never waver. At a time when many LGBTQ Americans are seeing their rights challenged, their safety questioned, and their existence undermined, Kansas City will never stop protecting and uplifting our LGBTQ community," said Mayor Quinton Lucas.
