Billionaire Clark Hunt wants to build a dome that his dad dreamed of but never achieved. 

The rub: He'd like to do it with taxpayer cash. 

And so . . . Credit where it's due . . .

"The Kansas City Chiefs have asked architects for proposals on a new domed 65,000-seat stadium on the Kansas side of the metro, radio host Pete Mundo reported Friday.

"Mundo told his KCMO listeners the news doesn’t mean the National Football League team is going to Kansas near the site of The Legends outdoor shopping and entertainment complex – only that it wants to see what that might look like."
