Highly Publicized Haxxorz Expose Police Misconduct In The Dotte?!?

Context and defining terms and principles that our "journalist" friends won't offer and probably didn't consider . .  . 

"Fruit of a rotten tree" is a metaphor, most notably used in the legal principle known as the "fruit of the poisonous tree" doctrine, which states that evidence derived from an illegal search or seizure is inadmissible in court. The "tree" is the illegally obtained evidence, and the "fruit" is any evidence that is a direct result of it, as both are considered tainted and cannot be used. This is also a general metaphor for how corrupt origins can lead to corrupt outcomes. 

Of course . . . An online report isn't as important as court drama and so we share the data in the semblance of fairness . . .
