Gwen Grant Advocates 'Radical Resistance' Amid KC Redistricting

“The call-to-action today is for radical resistance to fight to save democracy,” said Gwen Grant, president and CEO of the Urban League of Greater Kansas City.

Organizers called for urgent, collective action to protect civil rights, equity and justice in Missouri. The conference theme was partly in response to Missouri’s newly enacted redistricting map, which leaders said will dilute the voices of Kansas City voters.
