Guv Kehoe Walks Back Retractable Rag Roof After Kansas City Mockery

The guv deserves credit for laughing off a bad idea before it took hold . . . Here's the follow-up . . .  

The first question for him was whether a retractable roof is truly an option for the team.  

“No. I mean, it came up in a conversation about, kind of an all-weather type facility,” Governor Kehoe responded.

He followed that up by saying the Chiefs have been very clear, and he obviously wants them to stay where they are and renovate Arrowhead. If that happens, he says they could create a legacy environment like what’s at Lambeau Field.

“That’s what Chiefs fans want. They like being out in the cold,” Governor Kehoe said.
