Agree or disagree about the blame game . . . Mayor Q is absolutely correct that flight delays in airport will impact the whole system and the holidays quickly approach.

Although Kansas City International Airport (KCI) isn't on that list, city leaders said the ripple effects could still be crippling.
As of 4 p.m. Thursday, there were 69 flight delays reported at KCI, which is above average for the airport. Some travelers are already getting alerts that their flights Friday have been delayed or canceled.
The mayor and the City Manager's Office both said the impacts could be significant for Kansas City.
"Think about it, heavy fog at Chicago O'Hare can destroy air travel almost to the whole country, and that's just one day," Lucas said. "Cutting 10% of flights at major airports around the country can just be devastating with its ripple effects everywhere."
