SUSPECT has now been booked in the Leavenworth County Jail on an outstanding warrant, and KBI says additional charges will come for both he and Huggins. Neither of the two were injured, but DRIVER was examined for injuries before being booked in the Leavenworth County Jail, also on pre-existing warrants.
The deputy involved in the crash after being fired upon was taken to a hospital, treated for his injuries and has since been released. No other deputies or civilians were injured in the incident, KBI says.
