Fam Visiting Son Beaten In Westport Suffer Kansas City Car Attack Downtown

Today, thanks to BEST & BRIGHTEST TKC READERS we're inspired to revisit a Kansas City news story that reports insult after HORRIFIC injury in Westport.

The basics: 

WHILE VISITING THEIR SON WHO WAS BADLY BEATEN & SKULL FRACTURED, THEIR CAR WAS DAMAGED IN A DOWNTOWN CRIME SPREE!!!

 Here's a passage concerning the double damage which offers a glimpse of the threats confronting locals and the purported 650K World Cup visitors . . . 

William Kelly flew in from Southern California to be with his son, Eric Kelly, who has been in a hospital bed at St. Luke’s on the Plaza for more than a week.

Police told the family they believe Eric fell from a balcony at Harpo’s bar on Halloween night. But his father said the extent and nature of the injuries suggest something else may have happened.

“The amount of fractures to the side of the skull, the fact that it went over the head, I believe somebody hit him with something,” he said . . . 

To add to the frustration, William Kelly said his car was among those broken into in downtown Kansas City over the weekend while visiting his son.
