Can Exec LeVota Keep Kansas City Chiefs & Royals In Jackson County?!?

Here's the thing . . . On the topic of the new Exec, our blog community has more experience than the average local news reader.

Here's a good place to start . . .

FOR 20 YEARS WE'VE WATCHED THIS GUY PULL A RABBIT OUT OF HIS HAT WHILST LESSER POLITICOS TRIED IN VAIN TO FIGURE OUT HOW HE DID IT!!!

Consider . . .

There's no reason he should've been able to win the Exec position, people with far more voter support already had an inside line. And yet out of nowhere he emerged with bipartisan support.

In Eastern Jack he has pulled off one miracle after the next and operated successfully in a viper pit that's so treacherous most local newsies politely ignore it.

LeVota has survived political battles with opponents who seemed to outmatch him . . . And then he thrived whilst they were carted off to jail.

A while ago Pete Mundo asked me if I was on the guy's payroll and the truth is . . . TKC isn't that good and I don't think I'd be able to run fast enough to keep up with the guy. Also, the courthouse is already jam packed with hacks and doesn't have the space for yet another ego.

Accordingly . . .

As always we remain skeptical . . . HOWEVER . . . We want to keep readers in the loop with this tidbit:

The LeVota factor changes stadium talks more than most locals realize and we're starting to see the Exec gain more confidence and leverage his political capital.

Exec LeVota taking on the issue of new stadiums and changing the posture of the Courthouse is REALLY the only substantive change we've seen in negotiations no matter how much so many online hacks love sharing stupid 3d model renderings.

For now . . . Here's a preview . . .

"Jackson County Executive Phil Levota says he is working to keep both the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals in the county as stadium discussions continue."
