The Trump administration said in a memo to states Friday that it is working to comply with a federal court order requiring full November food Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) payments.

Meanwhile . . .  

"More than 700 Kansas City seniors have lost access to daily meal delivery services after KC Shepherd’s Center cut its food assistance program by more than half due to funding reductions.

"The nonprofit now serves 500 seniors, down from 1,200, after losing 25% of its funding this year because of federal and SNAP cuts, said Janet Baker, executive director of KC Shepherd’s Center."
