18-Year-Old Missing Woman Found Dead In South Kansas City

"According to IPD, the department was notified of a missing person, identified as Elayjah Murray, on Friday. During their investigation, IPD says that they learned that Murray had possibly been shot in Independence.

"Later on Saturday, Murray was found dead in South Kansas City, Missouri. Police are now investigating Murray’s death as a homicide."
