Suspect Dies After Biting Officer In Struggle At North Kansas City Hospital

Aftermath report of a scary local medical ruckus . . . Check-it: 

He was placed on an investigative hold by KCPD while at the hospital.

At some point, he allegedly became combative and tried to leave. When the officers attempted to stop him, a struggle ensued.

During the altercation, he bit a KCPD officer on the arm and tried to grab the officer’s gun . . .

The situation escalated as hospital security and staff joined officers in trying to subdue him.

The report states that he was pinned down in a hallway, eventually returned to his hospital room, and placed in restraints. Less than two hours later, he was dead.
