As the shutdown continues we've all been confronted by a litany of fear about the upcoming SNAP cutoff date and even the potential for politically charged foodie crime.

THERE IS NO AMERICAN FOOD SHORTAGE & KANSAS CITY SEEMS MORE THAN WILLING TO FEED ANYONE WHO NEEDS HELP!!!

According to the United Way, local layoffs, federal layoffs and furloughs, combined with high prices, have made it difficult for individuals to make ends meet.
This is why UWGKC said it is urging communities to SNAP into Action. Starting Wednesday, volunteers will pack meals to help families served by United Way Impact 100 organizations.
