Kansas City denizens of the discourse are free to "trust the science" or not . . . 

This study seems a bit salty and we question their methodology if only because "the control group" is likely just a bunch of bitter Pats fans . . . Check-it:  

"Academics at the University of Texas El Paso and institutions across the eastern U.S. have suggested their winning record could have had a helping hand.

"In an analysis of more than 13,000 penalty calls spanning from 2015 to 2023, they found that postseason officiating has disproportionately favored the Mahomes–era Kansas City Chiefs."
