Redistricting Sparks Political Revival For Kansas City Black Churches?!?

Possibly . . .

But, in fairness and in our constantly skeptical yet respectful tone, we ask . . .

IS THE ERA OF LOCAL FAITH LEADERSHIP OVER AS AMERICAN VOTERS TURN THE PAGE ON THE CIVIL RIGHTS MOVEMENT?!?

 On the conservative side . . .

Evangelicals have lost a great deal of their "moral authority" in an alliance with MAGA that is practical but not really about "faith" above all else . . . C'mon man . . . Dude has made a career of polyamory and actually came out winning. 

Meanwhile . . . 

We contend that faith leaders might not be able to call upon the legacy of the civil rights era in a nation where that history no longer resonates as deeply.

Of course . . . We share the counterpoint . . .  

A document the group created to outline its purposes and procedures says its mission “is to unite pastors across denominational and cultural lines to collectively impact our region through prayer, advocacy, leadership development, community engagement, and Kingdom collaboration.”

The first members of the new association are pastors of Black churches, but the plan is to invite other senior pastors who share the goals to join and perhaps even to work with non-Christian leaders when possible.
