Local Head Start Stays Losing Amid Government Shutdown Cont'd

Another update on day 16 . . . Here's the bad news for parents who might not be reassured by the ongoing partisan blame game . . . 

"According to the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC), 17 Head Start locations will close on Nov. 1 if the federal government does not reopen. These sites serve nearly 2,300 children and families, and employ nearly 400 early childhood educators."
