Phil LeVota Stays Winning Jackson County Executive Vote

That's Democratic Party insider Phil slightly to the right of former Prez Biden for those who don't know.

You guys called this one over the weekend and today it's news fact . . . 

What the local MSM doesn't really want to delve into as the politico who pushed the recall forward now triumphs in the aftermath . . .

Not everybody in Jackson County is thrilled, Exec LeVota has been a longtime denizen of local politics and he has more than his share of detractors.  There are even hard feelings from the COVID-era when he pushed back on a Blue Spring restaurant attempting to evade social distancing rules.

Still . . .

Putting five votes together amongst the constantly divided Legislature was an impressive feat. Even more so because he was able to snag some Republican support as one of the metro's biggest Democratic Party supporters, fundraisers and insiders.  

Here's today's aftermath . . . 

LeVota got the votes of Democrats DaRon McGee, Donna Peyton, and Venessa Huskey. He also got the votes of Republicans Jeanie Lauer and Sean Smith.
