Legal Duel Underway After Trans Fencing Competition In Kansas City

This one probably didn't come up in many social feeds but it's a worthwhile report on the culture war still very much up for debate . . . 

Here's the point of the upcoming courtroom grudge match . . . 

"The lawsuit pointed to the North American Cup in Kansas City in January as an example. U.S. Olympian Margherita Guzzi Vincenti and two other female fencing athletes claimed USA Fencing allowed biological males who now identify as trans women to compete in the women’s events.

"Organizers advertised the events as women-only, according to the lawsuit.

"The class action complaint, filed in U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri, named Guzzi Vincenti of Wisconsin, Patricia Hughes of South Carolina and Emma Griffin of Texas as plaintiffs. The lawsuit also named nine individual USA Fencing board members as defendants."
