One more local signal that the "American Golden Age" has yet to take hold . . . Even for workers at the higher end of the pay scale . . . Check-it:
"The company said it is planning to close a facility located at 12900 Foster Street in Overland Park at the end of November. The company said an operating unit will also close at that time.
"United BioSource LLC said the closure will result in the layoffs of 123 current employees. The workers impacted include traditional employees as well as remote workers in Kansas and Missouri."
