The driver of a gray Chevrolet Malibu was speeding southbound on The Paseo when it went into a “broad slide” near 16th Street.
The Malibu then slid up the curb, through the grass, and hit a large tree before stopping.

One person is dead and three others are suffering from various injuries at a nearby hospital after crashing a car into a tree on The Paseo early Sunday morning in Kansas City.
