Kansas City Toy Train Streetcar Extension Question: Is It Safe?!?

Not as safe as riding in a car by yourself. 

But . . . We're guessing it'll be safer than the bus if only because the touristy frou-frou is far too expensive to FAIL . . . For now.

As always, here's the optimistic view . . .  

Asked city leaders about their plans to keep riders safe when they leave areas along the streetcar route for new accessible destinations including Country Club Plaza, the Nelson Atkins Museum and most notably Westport.

"It's incredibly important. We want people to feel safe in this part of town. We spend a lot of time and a lot of money in our community improvement districts to work on safety issues," Midtown KC Now Executive Director Kevin Klinkenberg said.
