In his first big interview since getting the boot from The Rock . . . Johnny Dare plays softball with former KC sports TV dude Frank Boal.
Sorry, should be nicer for this #TBT special occasion . . .
Dare is actually IMPRESSIVE on the Internets and seems really excited to talk about his story. Frank Boal is a bit too concerned by trying to match egos with the more successful local talker and, sadly, doesn't really ask any tough questions.
Still . . .
It's the closest that locals can get to more time with a beloved KC celeb who was forced from the local broadcast game a bit too early.
A bit of description and then a link to the show . . .
"Johnny opens up about 34 years of radio mayhem, the sidekicks and skits that made headlines, and the moments that nearly got him kicked off the air. But behind the 'shock jock' persona, you’ll also meet the man with a big heart: the one who started Bikers for Babies, Hope for the Holidays, and Hand Up!"
